Come learn about quilling! An intricate paper strip art form originally used to imitate expensive and rare metal filigree around the 1400s, quilling came into popularity in the Edwardian and Victorian Eras.
In this single, standalone class, you will gain experience with the basics of this delicate paper craft. Expect to leave the class having begun a Vincent van Gogh inspired piece.
In this class, we will be honoring the beloved Dutch Impressionist painter Vincent van Gogh! We will use basic quilling techniques to build up our own versions of Starry Night.
In the class we will cover the basics of quilling including:
Quilling tools
Choosing paper
Traditional techniques
Glue application
Age Requirement: This skill and class is ideal for learners 14+.
Required Skills/Knowledge: No prior experience necessary
Materials: All materials will be provided, including:
1 slotted quilling tool
Quilling paper
Communal supplies will also be provided for use during class.
Homework: Due to the nature of quilling, projects can take some time to complete. Expect to complete your scene after class.
Class Date: Monday, March 30th, 2026
Time: 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Registration Deadline: Monday, March 23rd, 2026

Class must meet a minimum enrollment of 3 students to run. If the class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will be refunded to your original form of payment.
