Fabric of Society York is a collective of artists and makers who host classes and events at locations throughout York County. Whether you are a seasoned maker, a complete beginner, or someone simply looking for a way to meet new people and make some crafty friends, we have a class or event for you.

Who We Are

Fabric of Society York exists to support the creativity in all of us — to be a space where creators can come together to learn, share, and create in community with one another. We believe it’s ok to prioritize joy and creativity - that when we make choices that nourish our hearts and our hands, we improve our own lives and the lives of those around us. We think it’s important to take a break from the relentless busyness that keeps us disconnected from ourselves and our community, even if only for the length of a class. We embrace slow-making, process over product, the perfect imperfections inherent in the handmade. We celebrate the power in sitting down in a room with one another and making something with our own two hands. And we’re here to help make that creativity, connection, and community possible.
