Come hang out and learn about origami! This popular Japanese handicraft dates from as early as the late-1500s and over time has developed endless possibilities for fun creations.
In this single, standalone class, you will gain experience with the basics of this incredibly popular art form. Expect to leave the class having completed a few origami creations from the Super Mario franchise.
In this class, we will be celebrating Mario Day which occurs every year on March 10th! We will be making pieces including Mario/Luigi, Super Star, the ? Box, Goomba, and Mushroom. You will head home with the instructions for all projects, so you can keep making Mario characters after class!
In the class we will cover the basics of origami including:
Selecting paper
How to read instructions (pictorial and written)
Basic folds and bases
Materials: All materials will be provided. Communal supplies will also be provided for use during class.
Age Requirement: This skill and class is ideal for learners 10+.
Required Skills/Knowledge: No prior experience necessary.
Date: Saturday, March 21st, 2026
Time: 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Registration Deadline: Saturday, March 14th, 2026

Class must meet a minimum enrollment of 3 students to run. If the class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will be refunded to your original form of payment.
