Mama + Me Crochet Part 1
This class is a kid-friendly version of our adult crochet classes, designed for children 7+ to take with an adult caregiver (Dads, grandparents, and any other adult caregivers are welcome!). We will learn the first fundamental concepts and techniques of crochet. During the class we will work on a beginner-friendly project (a coaster), and you’ll leave with ideas for other patterns you can use to practice your skills. Getting creative together is a wonderful way to bond with our kiddos - this will be a sweet class filled with fun!
Required Skills/Knowledge: NONE. This class is designed for complete beginners.
Skills Taught: Foundational Concepts, Slip Knot, Chain Stitch, Single Crochet, Turning Chain, Bind Off, Weaving in Ends, Blocking.
