Left-Handed Knitting Basics Part 1
This knitting class for absolute beginners is designed for left-handed people who would like to learn the left-handed way of knitting. In this class, you’ll learn the first fundamentals of knitting - casting on, the knit stitch, binding off, blocking, and weaving in ends. During the two-hour class, you’ll receive all the materials and support to begin your first knit project - a coaster. While the most common way to learn to knit left-handed is by sitting across from a right-handed knitter and trying to mirror them, in this class you’ll learn from an instructor who can knit left-handed and demonstrates the left-handed methods for you.
This class is part of our Beginner Knitting series. In each class, you’ll learn different stitches and techniques to build your skills while creating adorable crochet coasters. This series is designed for complete beginners.
Required Skills/Knowledge: NONE. This class is designed for complete beginners.
Skills Taught: Foundational Concepts, Casting On, Knit Stitch, Binding Off, Weaving in Ends, Blocking.
