Swifties & friends of all ages, please join us to learn about the cutest crochet obsession – Amigurumi crochet. This unique crochet technique can be used to make 3D objects from yarn and polyfil. In the class, you will learn:
the basics of construction for Amigurumi crochet (including magic loop and a magic loop alternative!)
the history of this art form
fiber and hook types for this technique.
Your instructor will guide you to make an adorable plush microphone along the way!
Materials for the class are included in the price, so all you need to bring is your willingness to learn and your best singing voice (not required), because we will be bumping Taylor Swift and celebrating her birthday while we create magic from yarn!
Required Skills/Knowledge: The class requires prior knowledge of the following crochet skills:
Slip knot
Slip Stitch
Single Crochet
Increasing
Decreasing
Age Requirement: Ages 10+ welcome with the required crochet experience.
Homework: You will likely need to finish your project at home, but all materials and information will be provided in class, as well as contact info to reach out to the instructor with follow-up questions if they come up
Materials: A starter kit with all materials needed to complete the project is included in the price of the class
Dates: Saturday, December 13, 2025,
Time: 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
Registration Deadline: December 10th
Class must meet a minimum enrollment of 3 students to run. If the class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will be refunded to your original form of payment.
